Delany students clean up Australia

This week a group of students from Years 7-12 volunteered to take part in the annual 'Clean Up Australia Day' initiative. While cleaning up our school grounds and around the church may seem like a small gesture, this experience teaches students about the responsible disposal of rubbish, resource recovery and the repercussions of rubbish dumped irresponsibly in the local environment. The Truth About Valentine's Day!

On this important day, Delany College not only recognises Christian martyr, Saint Valentine of Rome, who was a fervent follower of Christ and advocate of Love, but celebrate the close-knit community of the college! Our students celebrated Valentine's Day by donating their time and money to support Caritas Australia... and also learnt why we truly celebrate this occasion!

Year 12 VET Construction 'Cement' their learning

As part of the Construction Pathways course and as a service to the college, the Year 12 VET Construction class laid a concrete pathway in the schools garden area so that teachers and students can gain access to the new shelter that was put in towards the end of last year. Read more...

Students in Commerce are beginning the year with the topic ‘Consumer Choice.’ We have begun to explore the nature of our decisions as consumers, and how this impacts on our quality of life. Remembering Brother Joseph Byrne

Sadly, Brother Joseph Byrne, who after several weeks of very poor health, passed away on the morning of 1 February 2019. He served the Granville, Fairfield and Blacktown communities during his sixty-two years in the ministry of the Patrician Broth-ers. 2019 Opening School Mass

On Wednesday, we celebrated our Opening School Mass with Holy Trinity Primary School. As we welcomed new staff and students to the school we celebrated the great faith community we have at Granville. Nagle College has been revealed as Blacktown’s highest ranked school in the 2018 HSC

The full list of school results from this year’s course was released on Thursday, with girls-only Nagle College listed as NSW’s 228th best performing school. Its students raked in 42 high scores — or Band 6s — from 623 entries. Read more...
