How to enrol

Delany College offers deeper learning to meet the needs of today’s learners. We equip students with the skills and knowledge to thrive in a connected, global world. Our students work together in flexible learning spaces, on integrated and differentiated tasks, with a core team of highly specialised teachers.

We are now accepting enrolments for students starting in year 7 next year. We also have limited places available in other grades. While enrolments are taken at any time during the year, the main enrolment period is from the beginning of the school year until the end of May.

Please note, that as a Catholic school we have a strong religious dimension, and people of other faiths who wish to enrol must be able to support and fully participate in the religious activities of the College.

We look forward to you joining our community and if you have any questions please contact us by phone 02 8633 8100 weekdays between 8:15am and 3:15pm or send us an email.

Enrolment Procedure

Step 1:

Attend an Open Day
or organise a tour of the school

Choosing the right school for your child is a very important decision. We encourage parents to organise a time to tour our school, meet our staff and see our learning in action. There are also a number of organised events, such as Open Days, which will also help future parents to get a 'feel' for our school.

If you would like to organise a tour of our school, call 02 8633 8100 and arrange a suitable appointment time.

Step 2:

Complete and lodge the Enrolment Application

Please read the Enrolment Instructions.

When completed, review the terms and conditions of enrolment (in the enrolment application) and then parents/carers should sign the enrolment application. You will also need to pay a non-refundable application fee of $50. When you have completed the enrolment form, please return it to the College Office or mail the completed form to:

Delany College

Granville NSW

Step 3:

Your letter
of offer

The Principal will consider the completed application and may make an offer to enrol your child at our school. Your application does not guarantee an automatic place at Delany College. We will notify you of the results of your application.

Step 4:

Acceptance of offer

If your application has been successful you will receive a letter of offer from Delany College. To accept this offer you will be required to pay a non-refundable enrolment deposit of $300. This will contribute towards your first term school-based fees. Enrolment will be finalised when:
  • your payment is processed
  • this application, together with the school’s letter of offer, is signed by you and the College Principal

Information for overseas students

Delany College does consider requests to enrol overseas students, although they need to meet the following criteria:

  • full-fee paying overseas students are enrolled only if vacancies exist
  • overseas students are subject to the same enrolment preferences as Australian students
  • overseas students accepted into schools in the Parramatta Diocese are expected to pay a full fee
  • enrolment will only proceed if the student's language and academic needs can be met by the school, and if the school is satisfied that appropriate care and supervision for the student will be available during his or her stay in Australia
  • the Principal will consider applications from overseas students who have compassionate reasons for wanting to enrol.

The Principal at Delany College makes the final decision on whether or not to accept enrolments from overseas students. If you are wishing to enrol an overseas student, please contact the school and arrange to speak with the Principal.

Overseas students on visa subclass 500

Delany College is registered as CRICOS school, CRICOS Provider Number 03340M, to enrol senior secondary overseas students on visa subclass 500.

Currently the school is registered to enrol four students at any one time.

Enquiries regarding application for enrolment by students on visa subclass 500 should be forwarded to the principal.

Please note that Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta does not actively recruit students from overseas and does not enter into any arrangements with education agents or pay any commissions in relation to any prospective student enrolment.
